3 Tesla MRI Wide

Our Sweetwater location has a state of the art 3T MRI.

This unit was only for research purposes a few years ago.  We purchased a brand new 3T magnet so that we could produce better MRI images than most of the hospitals in Broward and Palm Beach county.

The images produced by our 3T GE MRI is like watching 4K Ultra TV.  The images are crisp and produce a very fine and detailed image quality.

Tesla MRI Sweetwater offers Full-Body MRI scans. Pay for your appointment online securely and quickly.

Digital-X-Ray

Digital X-Ray

Our Sweetwater location also has a state of the art digital x-ray machine.

It has a very low amount of radiation compared to most other x-ray machines in the area.

Before you get an x-ray with the 20 year old machine at your primary care doctor’s office, ask them to send you to our center instead.

Breast MRI

At Tesla MRI, we prioritize your health and comfort by offering advanced imaging services tailored to your individual needs. If you’re scheduled for a breast MRI, it’s completely natural to have questions or concerns. This guide is here to help you feel informed and confident about your upcoming scan.

What is a Breast MRI?

A Breast MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a powerful diagnostic tool that uses strong magnets and radio waves to produce detailed images of breast tissue. Unlike mammography or ultrasound, a breast MRI offers multidimensional views of the breast, providing deeper insight into the breast’s internal structure and helping to detect conditions that other imaging techniques might overlook.

Breast MRIs are most effective when used in combination with other breast imaging tests, rather than as a standalone diagnostic. While highly sensitive, a breast MRI may occasionally miss findings that other imaging methods can detect.

This state-of-the-art technology enhances diagnostic precision and efficiency, leading to shorter scan times, quicker results, and an overall more convenient and reassuring experience. Breast MRIs can be used to examine unexplained changes in breast tissue, monitor previous procedures, or check for issues such as implant ruptures or leakage—especially in silicone or saline implants. These scans provide your medical team with the clarity they need to plan the most appropriate next steps.

What to expect?

During the procedure, you’ll lie face down on a padded table with your arms positioned above your head. Your breasts will rest comfortably into an opening in the table, allowing for imaging without compression. Soft cushions may be used to help you stay relaxed and still.

The table will slide into a long, narrow tube where the scan takes place. The exam is completely noninvasive, but remaining still is essential for capturing clear images. You may hear loud tapping, clicking, or whirring sounds—similar to a washing machine—as the MRI machine operates. To keep you comfortable, we offer earplugs or headphones to reduce noise during the procedure.

DTI

Diffusion Tensor Imaging measures the flow of water in your brain. A specific gadget is employed to photograph the water’s motions. A map is then generated to demonstrate where the paths are and how well they are arranged. This helps your doctor understand how your brain functions and whether there are any issues with the circuits.

DTI tractography is a non-invasive technique that produces pictures of the brain, tissues, and skull using MRI technology. MRI technology produces comprehensive pictures of minute changes in bodily tissue and blood flow, making it a very dependable tool for detecting illness, injury, bleeding, and edema.

Tesla MRI’s DTI MRI system offers ultra-high field strength, surpassing traditional imaging capabilities. The higher signal-to-noise ratio improves picture quality, allowing healthcare practitioners to see small anatomical features and minor anomalies with unparalleled clarity.

Tesla MRI prioritizes efficient workflow in healthcare, recognizing the value of time. Our DTI MRI scanner is built with user-friendly interfaces and efficient processes, allowing healthcare practitioners to conduct research with ease while focusing on patient care.

Diffusion Tensor Imaging is a useful technique for detecting and treating brain disorders because it provides a clear image of what is going on inside the brain. This is why Tesla MRI offers DTI MRI’s to help look into the following:

Brain Injury Assessment: DTI can be used to determine the level of damage in situations of traumatic brain injury or concussion. It aids in identifying areas where the brain’s pathways may have been altered and can shed light on how the damage affected cognitive and motor skills.

Multiple Sclerosis Diagnosis: DTI may help diagnose and monitor multiple sclerosis, a disorder of the central nervous system. It aids in the identification of demyelination and injury in the brain and spinal cord.

Stroke Evaluation: DTI may be used to examine the consequences of a stroke on the brain, providing information regarding infarcted regions as well as damage to white matter pathways. This information can aid in developing a rehabilitation and recovery strategy.

Tesla MRI prioritizes your convenience by allowing you to arrange your imaging scan for the same day or the following day. Simply get a recommendation from your doctor, find the nearest Tesla MRI center, then call us to schedule your imaging visit.
